About Janelle

My name is Janelle, and I am the owner and designer behind BEYOND PAPER & INK. My story began over fifteen years ago when I started interning at a small print shop. I learned how to create things on the computer. Then, I would send them off to the press for print and anticipate the final product. It was amazing to see my designs on-screen transform to wonders on paper. The feedback from customers was always positive and a big incentive to keep going. I had discovered my love for graphic design + printing.
 
After several years in the print shop, I decided to start my own business from home to be there more for my two children, have a more flexible schedule (haha!), and pursue my passion. Beyond Paper & Ink was created in 2010 and offers an array of printing and design services. The design and print services have become more focused now, but the friendly service is still the same. Beyond Paper & Ink, the business name was inspired by my customers, who were repeatedly telling me how much my designs went above and "beyond" their expectations!

Janelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Gannon University and attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Digital Design and Interactive Media.

A Little More About Myself...

When I'm not dreaming up new designs, I enjoy playing soccer with friends, spontaneous road trips in the country with my wonderful and supportive husband (aka my office sidekick), playing board and card games with my kiddos, and spending time with my fur baby Gunner and Covid-Cat, named Beast.
